Vespa motorcycles are designed for years of problem-free riding. By following some
simple guidelines, your bike will give you years of pleasureable riding.
 
Pre-Ride Check:
1. Tires: Look for proper inflation, foreign objects, and cracks on the sidewall.
 
2. Controls: Cables will rarely break, but kinks or stiffness could affect your bike's performance.
3. Lights: Check for function (brakelights, headlights, and turn signals).
    4. Fluids: Check the oil and fuel level and (if your bike is liquid cooled), the coolant level.
  5. Belt: It should be properly tensioned and in good shape.
  6. Sidestand and centerstand: Make sure they fold up properly and stay up.
  7. Brakes: Make sure they are working properly.
   
 

Be sure to check with your Vespa dealer at regular intervals (as specified in the warranty manual), for routine maintenance items such as oil change and filter cleaning/replacement.

Remember: Non-use is a form of abuse - Enjoy the ride!
